VOW Privacy Policy

VOW-specific privacy notice. This notice supplements the website’s general privacy policy.

Information collected: first and last name, email address, username, account/verification status, Terms of Use acceptance, access timestamps, pages/listings accessed, IP address, and browser/user-agent information. Phone information is collected only when voluntarily provided through a contact or showing request.

Why it is collected: to provide password-protected VOW access, verify identity and email validity, provide residential real estate brokerage services, respond to inquiries, secure the VOW, prevent scraping or unauthorized use, maintain required audit records, and demonstrate compliance.

Disclosure: Personal Information may be disclosed to TRREB, PropTx and their duly authorized representatives for auditing, compliance, enforcement and/or legal purposes, and otherwise where permitted or required by law.

Retention: VOW account, acceptance and access records are retained for security, brokerage and compliance purposes for the period required by applicable law, MLS® rules and VOW requirements, and are securely deleted or anonymized when no longer required.

Security: reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used to protect account and VOW information. WordPress stores passwords using its one-way password hashing system; this site does not intentionally store consumer passwords in readable plaintext.
